Cecilia Diego is a doctoral candidate at Teachers College Columbia University in the Philosophy and Education department. She is a founding member of the Latin American Philosophy of Education Society and editor of the society’s yearly publication Lápiz. She is also the founder of Ceci n’est pas un école, an alternative learning organization that holds lectures and events in Mexico. Her research includes Philosophy of Education produced in Latin America, Schooling and Deschooling, and Rural Education.
