Kathleen W. Peters is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Religious Studies at Rhodes College. She received her BA in History and MA in Religion from the University of Georgia, and her PhD in Religion from Emory University. She is an expert in material culture whose publications include “Pottery as a Core Text? The Place of Archaeology in University Core Curriculum,” in Proceedings of the Sixteenth International Congress of Classical Archaeology, eds. C. Mattuch and A.
